Composition: Aquatic-specific sodium humate is a type of organic matter formed and accumulated through the decomposition and transformation of animal and plant remains by microorganisms, as well as a series of geochemical processes. After purification, it is extracted using sodium hydroxide and is widely used in aquaculture.
Properties: This product appears as a black powder, flake, or spherical form. It is easily soluble in water, with the aqueous solution being dark brown and alkaline, and non-toxic.
Uses: ① As a supplementary carbon source in water bodies for fertilization; ② Aquatic-specific sodium humate is a relatively stable natural macromolecular organic substance with an aromatic structure, possessing high reactivity and strong adsorption capacity, capable of purifying water quality; ③ After application of aquatic-specific sodium humate, the water body turns soy sauce-colored, blocking some sunlight from reaching the bottom, thus preventing algae growth and providing physical shade; ④ Cultivating and protecting aquatic plants; ⑤ Chelating heavy metal ions; ⑥ Improving substrate quality, detoxification, and deodorization, reducing the negative impact of ammonia and nitrogenous substances on the environment.
